Bismillah...

We got pre-approved for a mortgage this morning. I didn't really think about just going and speaking to someone, but M who owns a daycare and whose husband is a real estate agent said that we should look into it now so that we can move before the Fall. I talked to someone from Royal Bank, but baba wasn't really interested...

We went to lunch and smiled for a long time. I am over the moon.  It’s not that I didn’t think we would get a mortgage here, it’s just that I am new to my job, so we thought they would say to come back.

Baba's super excited right now, and we are already thinking of how to decorate, lol. On a serious note we are thinking about the kids- we want this for them.
