holy cow i am beat. house # 9 - 16

We have looked at a few (okay more than a few this week) and this is not even my wrap up.
I don't even know where to start. It seems the viewing on these house went by as I was in a daze, I don't remember much because the were all in the same area, and I wasn't really impressed.

We looked in the Queensland area. There are so many houses for sale in this area. Queensland, which is a pretty established area is a bit  different from what we've seen so far. I found the houses to be old and uninspiring. On the plus side, there were schools and a mall and lots of greenery - not that it's hard to find greenery in Calgary.

One of the first houses that we visited was a "no" right off the bat. As we pulled up in the driveway, we had these neighbors staring at us, like they have never seen "coloured" people before. I still went in, but the minute I had baba to myself I was like, no way, I would never live here.

Another house, it seems the owners had a weird dislike for closets. All of the closet doors were taken off- every single one, lol. Over all the place was very nice.

We did see one place that was a bit more modern looking, but it was so small - I don't know. Baba said the same thing.

Oh, there's one house that we didn't even go into. We just drove past and saw what it looked like, and we looked around outside for a few minutes, but didn't go in. This one was a foreclosure and it looked a bit rough, so I didn't want to take the chance of it being a house with a dirty history, lo. Now when I say "dirty" I'm talking about drug labs or a murder or something - you'd have to see it to know what I mean.

Over-all, it was an interesting week, but still no success, although there has been progress - like getting to know the areas better.
