Wow, where has the time gone. 2 weeks have passed since we started this quest.
We've gotten to know Calgary fast and we have really began to think about the possibility that within weeks we could be walking into a new home. It wasn't even a year ago that we hopped on the VIA and dragged the kids across the country. Not once did I question if I was making the right decision, BUT, I did question if "we" would make it here- and if we didn't, who would help us?!
We are super excited, and subhanAllah we feel that we can do this without having to ask of anyone for assistance - it's important to us.
I've gotten to know my husband a million times more.
I know when he gets scared
excited
or just exhausted.
it's been an experience that we will never have again.
we're heading out for breakfast...
